KHON2 Wake Up 2Day: Oʻahu’s Leeward Coast community continues to rally after Lowell

The community continues to rally and support Lowell-impacted residents on Oʻahu’s west coast.

One of the storm’s largest impacts for the Leeward Coast community was power outages that affected homes and food supplies at stores.

ʻElepaio Social Services will host another food distribution event at the Kamehameha Community Learning Center at Māʻili.

From 10 am to 1 pm folks able to register to online can visit the food distribution and at 1 pm it will be open to the public.

ʻElepaio continues to serve the community with food distribution daily. To learn more and how to find support or volunteer visit the website.
